The Sentinel is a flashback for my love of the synth music genres from the late 70s and mid 80s - music which have played a major role influencing my own productions even while working with other genres.

As a teen I listened to bands such as The Rockers, Depeche Mode, Nitzer Ebb, Skinny Puppy, Alphaville, OMD etc. I was especially drawn to the slightly darker side of industrial music. Although the album is fully instrumental, I spent lots of time thinking of themes describing many of my sides as a person and the secret lies embedded in the music itself and might partly be revealed by the titles. The lines between genres tends to get a bit of soft edges but in general the album is a blend of upbeat and downtempo sequenced electronic music with influences from Techno, Synthwave and Electronica. The foundation of the tracks and how they came to life lies in the sequenced bass segments and much effort was spent re-creating many of the sounds that I have come to love. Once you got just the right sound that you are looking for, ideas starts flooding and the music comes to life by itself.

This album as well as upcoming industrial inspired music is released under the alias artist name of AudioNuts.

Due to an unusually busy pre-Christmas time for my label Legacy of Thought, the official release date of this album to the stores is set to January 8th - 2021 which makes this a pre-release that will last till January 8th - 2021.
